These threaded adapters allow you to use a #8 and #10 threaded female hose fitting to adapt to your existing or new AC system lines. The SD7 compressor is found on the mk4 in all engines, TDI, 2.0, 1.8t, and vr6.
We use these to run a low barrier hose, into the fender well or under the frame rail for a nearly invisible AC system.. We are developing a “Shaved Bay” AC system so that those of you with smoothed bays can still have heat and AC, these play a very important role in converting you old mk1/2 to the 134a system that was used in your swap motor.
